Berkeley Heights Revisited continues the journey that was begun in Virginia B. Troeger’s first book, Berkeley Heights, published by Arcadia in 1996.
With unique photographs, the majority dating from the 1940s to 2004, this book reveals the faces, places, and celebrations of one of Union County’s most vibrant communities.
The last chapter offers a selection of photographs by Joan L. Rotondi, who took a picture somewhere in Berkeley Heights every day during 1995 and 1996.
Author Virginia B. Troeger is a longtime resident of Berkeley Heights and a former librarian at Mountain Park School.
She is the coauthor of three books on Woodbridge, the author of a historical fiction book for children, and the writer of the article on Berkeley Heights in the 2004 Encyclopedia of New Jersey.
